{"id":43997,"date":"2024-09-17T10:43:27","date_gmt":"2024-09-17T10:43:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.beverleyathleticclub.co.uk\/?p=43997"},"modified":"2024-11-26T18:34:19","modified_gmt":"2024-11-26T18:34:19","slug":"beaver-trail-run-nov-24th-2024-at-10am","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beverleyathleticclub.co.uk\/?p=43997","title":{"rendered":"Beaver trail run &#8211; Nov 24th 2024 at 10am"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Come and run the <strong>Beaver Trail<\/strong> Sunday November 24<sup>th<\/sup> at 10:00am 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Beverley Athletic Club once again extends the hand of friendship to all local running clubs and friends to join us for this year\u2019s 26<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the Beaver Trail run or walk. \u00a0Meet outside the reception on the grassy area at Beverley Leisure Centre, Flemingate, HU17 0LT for a 10am start.\u00a0 No need to sign up in advance; just show up!<\/p>\n<p>The route was founded by Beverley AC in November 1998, that makes this year the 26<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary, and since then we have celebrated the route in an annual event (with the exception of 2020) by inviting anyone to run or walk a distance of their choice.\u00a0 The trail follows a picturesque cross-country \u201coff road\u201d route.<\/p>\n<p>There is a choice of 5, 10, 13 and 15.2 mile routes.\u00a0 Route maps, route descriptions and GPX files can all be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beverleyathleticclub.co.uk\/?p=33508\">Beverley AC website<\/a>.\u00a0 Please note that this year there is an <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">alternative for the 10 mile route<\/span> due to road works and road closures.\u00a0 Please familiarise yourself with this new route and make use of the maps and GPX files.\u00a0 If you are not familiar with the intended route, please download a map and study it in advance. \u00a0As with last year, the start will have to take a slight diversion via Flemingate and Minster Avenue due to the inaccessibility of Spark Mill Lane.\u00a0 Some paper maps will be available on the day.\u00a0 The route is not marshalled.\u00a0 Child under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.\u00a0 Dogs welcome at the owner\u2019s risk. \u00a0Please dress appropriately for the weather.<\/p>\n<p>Free soup and roll afterwards at the Leisure Centre, being served from 11:30am.\u00a0 Vegan version available.\u00a0 Please leave muddy footwear outside the building.<\/p>\n<p>Toilets, showers and changing facilities available in the leisure centre.\u00a0 Lockers are available but please bring along your own padlock.<\/p>\n<p>We look forward to welcoming you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Come and run the Beaver Trail Sunday November 24th at 10:00am 2024.
