The Yorkshire Wolds Way Relay Challenge is back on 30th May 2021!  A 10 Leg Relay Challenge Run limited to 25 teams from local UKA Affiliated Athletic Clubs.  This is not an official race but timing will be provided.

A Team Captain should be appointed to enter their team.  After entry they will be contacted to supply team members’ details from their Club.  It is recommended you have at least one reserve that is familiar with the route.  Team category options are Male, Female and mixed teams.  Entry fee is £50 per Team (£5 per runner) to cover costs and Wolds Way Beer!

A donation of £1 per runner will also be made to National Trails who maintain the Yorkshire Wolds Way.

The route follows the official Yorkshire Wolds Way, with a 7:30am start at Hessle Foreshore and finishes at Filey Brigg. There will be no additional waymarking or marshals.  It is therefore essential that teams recce the route/legs in advance.  Eight of the ten legs vary in distance from 7 to 9 miles.  The two remaining legs are 5 and 3 miles.  Read more about the individual legs, download maps and GPX files on our website here.

There is a time limit of 13 hours (equivalent to an average speed of 10 minute/mile pace).

Teams to organise own transport.

As planning progresses Team Captains will be updated with more information, including COVID19 guidance, and they will also be able to amend team members’ details as required.
