The following roads will be closed for the Viking Pest Control Walkington 10K road race and Westwood Mortgage Advisers Fun Run on Friday 10th July 2026. Roads are closed for the safety of runners and spectators and under a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

- Townend Road, Walkington – from the junction with West End to the continuation with Little Weighton Road. 19:15 to 21:00
- Little Weighton Road, Walkington – from Townend Road to Church Walk. 18:30 to 21:15
- Little Weighton Road, Walkington – from Townend Road to Bluestone Bottom. 19:15 to 21:00
- Walkington Road, Little Weighton – the whole extent. 19:15 to 21:00
- Bluestone Bottom, Walkington – the whole extent. 19:15 to 21:00
- Common Road, Rowley – the whole extent. 19:15 to 21:00.
- White Gap Road, Little Weighton – from the junction with Common Lane/Comberdale Hill (Rowley) to the junction with Old Village Road/Rowley Road, Little Weighton. 19:15 to 21:00
- Old Village Road, Little Weighton – the whole extent. 19:15 to 21:00
These closures will operate as rolling road closures and the roads will be reopened once the runners have passed consistent with maintaining public safety. Diversions will be in place during this time. Emergency vehicle access remains throughout.
