Come and run the Beaver Trail Sunday November 24th at 10:00am 2024.

Beverley Athletic Club once again extends the hand of friendship to all local running clubs and friends to join us for this year’s 26th anniversary of the Beaver Trail run or walk.  Meet outside the reception on the grassy area at Beverley Leisure Centre, Flemingate, HU17 0LT for a 10am start.  No need to sign up in advance; just show up!

The route was founded by Beverley AC in November 1998, that makes this year the 26th anniversary, and since then we have celebrated the route in an annual event (with the exception of 2020) by inviting anyone to run or walk a distance of their choice.  The trail follows a picturesque cross-country “off road” route.

There is a choice of 5, 10, 13 and 15.2 mile routes.  Route maps, route descriptions and GPX files can all be found on the Beverley AC website.  Please note that this year there is an alternative for the 10 mile route due to road works and road closures.  Please familiarise yourself with this new route and make use of the maps and GPX files.  If you are not familiar with the intended route, please download a map and study it in advance.  As with last year, the start will have to take a slight diversion via Flemingate and Minster Avenue due to the inaccessibility of Spark Mill Lane.  Some paper maps will be available on the day.  The route is not marshalled.  Child under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Dogs welcome at the owner’s risk.  Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Free soup and roll afterwards at the Leisure Centre, being served from 11:30am.  Vegan version available.  Please leave muddy footwear outside the building.

Toilets, showers and changing facilities available in the leisure centre.  Lockers are available but please bring along your own padlock.

We look forward to welcoming you!
